Hello CABAL Players,
There have been multiple reports of player’s accounts being compromised over the past couple of weeks. As this is the case, we would like to address these concerns and help you back on your feet and back in the game as soon as possible. Included below are some important steps that you’ll need to take in order to make this process as streamlined as possible.
1) Secure your account and playing environment. If you haven’t already, please read over our previous announcement regarding third party programs located here: http://forum.cabal.com/showthread.ph...Party-Programs. Included in the thread are important information and safety precautions that you may use to avoid having your account compromised. If your account has been compromised, these steps are still very important and may be necessary to remove any possible threats that are on your computer.
2) Send us a ticket via the Help Desk. Once your computer is secure, send us a ticket letting us know your account has been compromised. The sooner the better! Please be as concise as possible and include the date, time, items, and alz you have lost. Any other information that you think might be helpful in our investigation is more than welcome. As we’re experiencing a sudden surge of tickets regarding compromised accounts, please note that account investigations will take several weeks. We will do our best to reimburse the item and alz lost due to this issue.
